I made a card last year for back to school. I had thought about making cards for such an occasion for years, even actually started them, but never finished one. Part of me felt it was a bit over the top, even for someone like me. But with us across the country, it felt right sending cards to our loved ones, especially to our teachers in Kansas. And since this is my second year doing so, it's official, it's a tradition.
