It was 89 Degrees in Sacramento....

And because it was 89 degrees in the Sacramento area, we decided to head to Tahoe where it was only 66-68 degrees.

And it was perfect.

This was our first time checking out the north side of the lake.  We really enjoyed ourselves.

If you can't tell, Lake Tahoe is taking the California drought fairly hard.

We had lunch at Dockside 700 with a breathtaking view.

The lunch was good too.

And our drinks were quite interesting.

The Redhead was ecstatic to find "lobsters" in the water.  She was okay with them being crayfish as well.
